She worked as a sales negotiator for Halifax and then decided to train as a Mortgage Adviser and worked for 2 years at The Mortgage Advice Shop in Newcastle City Centre. She then worked for Keith Pattinson Estate Agents for 5 years in total as a Financial Adviser in their City Centre and Prudhoe offices.  She also worked for for Reeds Rains for 2 years and was awarded with the Northern Regions best performing mortgage adviser before she left to start her own business in 2004.
